Sweet Potato Protein Bites Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 Scoop of OWYN Chocolate Protein Powder
  • 1 Scoop of OWYN Smooth Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 1/2 cups gluten free quick cooking oats
  • 3/4 cup creamy unsweetened peanut butter* (swap for sun butter or chick pea butter if you have a peanut allergy)
  • 1/4 cup sweet potato purée
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 Tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 2 Tbsp vegan mini chocolate chips or cocoa nibs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Instructions:

    1. In a medium sized bowl, combine all ingredients except for the OWYN Protein Powder

    2. Stir mixture with a wooden spoon

    3. Separate the batter into two equal portions

    4. Add the Chocolate Protein Powder to one batter, and Smooth Vanilla Protein Powder to the other

    5. Scoop the mixture using a tablespoon to portion evenly

    6. Roll mixture into a ball using your hands

    7. Store in an airtight container and refrigerate overnight (keep mixture in the fridge for a week, or freeze for later use)

    8. Enjoy!
