Dark Chocolate Protein Hearts
Fall in love with these heart shaped, Dark Chocolate Protein Hearts! Rich dark chocolate, packed with sunbutter and OWYN Protein Powder.
Ingredients:
Filling-
- 1/2 cup sunbutter, unsweetened
- 1 scoop OWYN Dark Chocolate Plant Protein Powder
Chocolate Coating-
- 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
- Flaky sea salt, for garnish
Method:
- Mix together the filling ingredients in a bowl. Once combined, scoop roughly 1 Tbsp of the mixture into the heart shaped molds.
- Place the heart shaped molds into the freezer to set for roughly 30 minutes.
- Once heart shaped molds have set, start to make the chocolate coating. Place the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl and microwave the ingredients until melted. Microwave in 10 second increments to avoid burning the chocolate.
- Dip the hearts into the melted chocolate and place on a lined baking sheet. Sprinkle sea salt for garnish. Once done, place chocolate hearts in fridge to set.
