Start your morning right, enjoy these fluffy waffles packed with protein!
+ 1 1/3 cup OWYN Pancake & Waffle Mix
+ 1 Tbsp of dry flaxseed meal
+ 3 Tbsp of vegetable oil
+ 1 Carton Smooth Vanilla Pro Elite High Protein Shake (add an additional 1/3 cup to thin out the batter)
1. Combine all ingredients and mix gently until smooth
2. Preheat the waffle maker
3. Pour 2 Tbsp of waffle mixture into your waffle maker
4. Cook until golden brown
5. Serve with the Berry compote or fresh berries
Berry Compote Ingredients:
+ 1/2 cup of fresh strawberries sliced
+ 1/2 cup blueberries
+ 1 Tbsp of agave or maple syrup (you can also use 1 Tbsp of orange juice)
1. In a saucepan, mix the berries and the sweetener of choice together
2. Bring mix to a slow boil over a medium low heat
3. Continuously stir the berries until the juices are released
4. Remove from heat
5. Serve with your waffles or pancakes
