Dark Chocolate Protein Hearts

Ingredients:

Filling-
  • 1/2 cup sunbutter, unsweetened
  • 1 scoop OWYN Dark Chocolate Plant Protein Powder
  • Chocolate Coating-
  • 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • Flaky sea salt, for garnish
  • Method:

  • Mix together the filling ingredients in a bowl. Once combined, scoop roughly 1 Tbsp of the mixture into the heart shaped molds.
  • Place the heart shaped molds into the freezer to set for roughly 30 minutes.
  • Once heart shaped molds have set, start to make the chocolate coating. Place the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl and microwave the ingredients until melted. Microwave in 10 second increments to avoid burning the chocolate.
  • Dip the hearts into the melted chocolate and place on a lined baking sheet. Sprinkle sea salt for garnish. Once done, place chocolate hearts in fridge to set.
